In the proses of learning, teacher still used
explanation and discussion to deliver learning materials. Discussion that
usually used by the teacher still used study case as the topic of discussion,
however many of the students fell bored, less of motivation, and decreasing
learning outcomes. It’s happen because the discussion model still monotonous
and there is no variation of teaching model to increasing student learning
outcomes. Therefore the researcher interest to implementing Cooperative
Learning Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) to increasing student learning
outcomes at the subject of Entrepreneurship and Craft.
In
this research cooperative learning method that use is cooperative learning
model problem based learning. The type of this research is Class Action
Research with the qualitative approach. The subject of this research is
students of X Class of Hotelier Administration SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Singosari
that consist of 18 male students and 15 female students. The purpose of this
research are; (1) To determine implementation learning model problem based
learning, (2) To determine the level of
increasing students learning outcomes on the implementation problem based
learning.
The
result of implementation cooperative learning type of problem based learning
has proven can increasing students learning outcomes. At the cycle I the result
of cognitive learning outcomes about 54, 5%, while at the cycle II about 78,
8%, an increase about 24, 3%. For the affective aspect in the cycle I about 75,
50% while in the cycle II about 81, 80%, an increase about 6, 3%, beside that
students also give positive responds in the implementation learning model of
problem based learning that is 84, 55%.
Based
on this research, can be suggested that; (1) For the teacher at the subject on
SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Singosari, suggested to try the implementation learning
model of problem based learning because it can increasing students learning
outcomes. (2) For students, suggested to study hard because this method can
train to critical thinking, brave to give idea, increasing study activities,
and increasing students learning outcomes. (3) For other researchers, suggested
to continue this research to develop and implemented learning model of problem
based learning.
